This is the booking to make if your tires are loose — bought new, or a seasonal set that has never had rims of its own. The old tires come off your rims, the new ones go on, and every wheel is balanced before it goes back on the car.

Balancing is what stops the steering wheel shaking at highway speed, and it is the step that makes this the longer and more equipment-heavy of the two tire services. If your second set is already on its own rims, book Tire Replacement With Rim instead — it is quicker and cheaper.

Good to know — Have the new tires and the rims they are going onto at the service address before your appointment, and the wheel lock key to hand if your car uses one.
