Keeping a garden looking cared for

A garden looks after itself for about three weeks. After that, weeds establish, shrubs lose their shape and beds start looking neglected even when the planting is healthy.

Regular maintenance is far less work than periodic rescue. Your provider weeds the beds, prunes what needs it for the season, deadheads and keeps edges crisp.

Good to know — Point out anything you have planted recently or are trying to establish. Young plants and self-seeded favourites look a lot like weeds to someone seeing the garden for the first time.
